Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount:GLAVAHCS has a requirement to purchase Furniture Pods for ABH Facility to provide emergencyhousing for unhoused veterans.Vendor will deploy installation services and ship components to complete the furniture pods onhand immediately. The furniture pods will support the implementation of 34 additional emergencybeds.3. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other suppliesor services can be used:Concourse Federal Group, LLC is the only vendor capable of rapidly implementing the furniture podconfigurations that meet the requirements for the ABH project. There is an unusual and compellingneed to serve unhoused Veterans with complex medical and psychiatric needs who have fewresources and require long-term case management to either obtain and/or maintain permanentsupportive housing. The additional time required to compete this requirement will adversely impactservice to unhoused Veterans in immediate need. Concourse Federal Group can provide additionalproducts that are consistent with the existing furniture in ABH. This allows GLAVAHCS to use theexisting furniture without replacing the entire supply. Due to urgency, time constraints, andemergent need to house unhoused Veterans, circumstances of contract action deem only onesource is reasonable available, and no other supplies or services will meet agency need.
